Boy, 16, dies after being found with multiple stab wounds on Luton street with two other teens who were injured in the ‘incident’ arrested over it

A 16-year-old boy has died after being found with multiple stab wounds on a street in Luton.
Police have arrested two other teenagers who were injured in the incident after being scrambled to the scene in Stoneygate Road at around 4pm on Tuesday afternoon.
The 16-year-old was taken to hospital with injuries but was pronounced dead just after 6pm.

While he has not yet been formally identified, his family has been made aware.
Bedfordshire Police said a teenage boy was arrested on suspicion of murder in connection to the incident, having received hospital treatment for minor injuries.
A third teenage boy who suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries has been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.
Chief Superintendent John Murphy said: ‘We believe this was an isolated incident with no risk to the wider public, and our community officers will be patrolling the area to give reassurance to residents.
‘We are doing all we can, but would always encourage our communities to report anything they may have seen.
