Titans horribly botch ‘Music City Miracle’ attempt vs. Bills

The Buffalo Bills and the Tennessee Titans are locked in battle on Monday Night Football. After Josh Allen led the Bills to a 3-0 lead through a field goal, it was the Titans turn to have to ball.

With the Bills kicking the ball to the Titans, Chester Rodgers was tasked with signaling a fair catch as most returners do. However the wide receiver decided to try something a little different.

As soon as Rodgers caught the ball, he immediately throw a cross-field lateral to Chris Jackson. It took the Bills special teams by complete surprise and a huge gain was made and took the Titans into Bills territory.

Despite it looking good for the Titans, the officials threw a flag as the ball is not allowed to travel forwards, which on several replays it was shown to have done. Watch it here.

As you can see, had the play stood it would of been a huge momentum swing for the Titans and would of set then up in good field position to start their next drive.

The Titans know they are in a huge fight with the Bills and they are trying everything they can do to throw them off balance.
