  • The toddler remains in a critical condition at the Royal Children’s Hospital
  • Police say they are investigating the circumstances of the incident 










A two-year-old boy is in a critical condition after he was found unresponsive in a hotel swimming pool.

The toddler was rushed to hospital on Friday night after emergency services were called to the complex on Whiteman Street, Southbank in Melbourne at about 10pm.

The boy was treated by paramedics at the scene and was taken to the Royal Children’s Hospital.

A spokesperson for the hospital confirmed to Daily Mail Australia the boy was still in a critical condition on Saturday morning.

Police say they are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
