Two former NHL off-ice officials claim they were fired for reporting racist and sexually inappropriate language by a supervisor and are now suing the league in federal court for wrongful termination.

Attorneys working for ex-NHL off-ice officials David Walkowiak and James Watkins filed the lawsuit in Florida this week, saying their clients should be rehired and given punitive damages for their dismissal, although a specific amount was not listed.
