Boy, 16, is stabbed to death in Manchester: Murder probe launched as family say they are left ‘devastated’

  • A 16-year-old boy has been tragically killed after being stabbed in Stretford
  • Police called to  Thirlmere Avenue, in Stretford, shortly before 7pm last night
  • Teen was treated at scene before being taken to hospital where he later died
  • Boy’s family have been notified by officers and have been left  ‘devastated’
