A man stole more than £1,000 from his former partner by using her bank card without permission and used the money to feed his drug addiction. He made a number of cash withdrawals over a month behind the woman’s back.
David Williams, 53, of Trebanog, Porth, breached the trust of friend Julie Hatter who relied on him to carry out odd jobs such as picking up shopping and drawing cash out. In total he stole £1,390 from the victim between July 22 and August 17 last year.
