Corporate advisor Steve Michelson says Labor will need to navigate “carefully” in the Senate – despite the likely outcome of a majority government.
Mr Michelson said it would be likely for Labor to have 77 seats in the lower house to make majority government.
“It also means that the role of the teals is obviously lessened,” he told Sky News Australia.
“Where the action will really happen is in the Senate and I think that Labor will have to navigate that incredible carefully and I think that could become quite disruptive.”
