‘Wrong decision’: Texas official reveals police delay to stop killer


Head of the Texas Department of Public Safety Steven McCraw revealed it was the “wrong decision” for officials not to storm Robb Elementary School as a gunman killed students and teachers.

It was reported almost 20 officers waited outside school classrooms for nearly an hour –despite repeated calls from children inside begging for help.

“From the benefit of hindsight where I’m sitting now of course it was not the right decision, it was the wrong decision period,” Mr McCraw said.
