PM and Prince of Wales set for awkward meeting after Charles’s blast at ‘appalling’ Rwanda scheme


Boris Johnson and Prince Charles are set for an awkward meeting in Rwanda on Friday morning.

The pair will hold talks in capital Kigali as they both attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.

But the discussions could be strained after it was recently revealed the heir-to-the-throne had criticised the Government’s new asylum policy.

Despite a backlash, the Prime Minister is pushing ahead with the £120m scheme to send migrants from Britain to Rwanda to have their asylum claims…
