WASHINGTON
The US State Department urged Americans on Wednesday to reconsider travel to Ecuador, citing crime and demonstrations in the South American country.
“Reconsider travel to Ecuador due to civil unrest and crime. Some areas have increased risk,” according to a travel advisory by the department.
