Four high-profile Daniel Andrews government ministers set to announce resignations ahead of November state election


A number of Daniel Andrews’ most senior cabinet ministers are set to call time on their political careers, as former COVID-19 Commander Jeroen Weimar lands a big new role.

As many as four of Premier Daniel Andrews’ senior ministers will announce they are retiring from politics ahead of Victoria’s state election in November.

Mr Andrews is widely expected to hold a press conference on Friday where he will reveal Deputy Premier James Merlino, Health Minister Martin Foley, Sport and Tourism Minister Martin Pakula and Police Minister Lisa Neville will be resigning.
