Prince Charles visits Rwandan Genocide memorial in Kigali

The Prince of Wales has visited memorials and met with survivors of the 1994 Rwandan Genocide while in Kigali for a meeting of the heads of government from Commonwealth countries.

Prince Charles is set to meet UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson in Kigali after the Prince reportedly criticised the UK government’s plans to send asylum seekers to Rwanda for offshore processing.
