Former Labor Minister Stephen Conroy says “there’s a real sense of change” following reports four Victorian ministers are set to retire.
“There’s some surprising names being speculated there,” he told Sky News Australia.
“The deputy premier’s name – I think Merlino demonstrated to everybody – when Andrews was injured and off work – what an excellent, excellent job he did.
“And many people believed that he could one day replace Andrews.”
