Ukraine’s Ambassador to Australia calls for more military support to combat ‘extremely powerful’ Russian weapons


Ukraine’s Ambassador to Australia says President Zelensky would be “delighted” to host Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, as he calls for more military support to push back against Russian aggression.

Ukraine’s Ambassador to Australia Vasyl Myroshnychenko has insisted Prime Minister Anthony Albanese would be welcomed in Kyiv, should he decide to go.

Mr Albanese was invited to visit Ukraine by President Volodymyr Zelensky while he is in Europe for a NATO meeting.

He will depart for Madrid for the summit on June 28, which will focus on providing support to Ukraine, before visiting France…
