Head of Public affairs at Brisbane Airport Stephen Beckett says “extra people are being put on” during Brisbane Airport’s peak periods.
Mr Beckett said airports and airlines have been working hard.
“The average wait time, during the peak, has been between 17 to 20 minutes to clear through security,” he told Sky News Australia.
“We’re putting extra people on during the peak periods to make sure that the wait times are as low as they can be.”
