Queensland scraps COVID vaccine mandates for some workers and visitors to aged care facilities, schools and correctional facilities


Queensland Premier Annastacia Palasczcuk decided to scrap some of the last remaining COVID-19 restrictions in the Sunshine State following advice from Chief Health Officer John Gerrard.

Queensland has scrapped mandatory COVID-19 vaccines for visitors to aged care facilities, disability accommodation and correctional facilities.

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk on Friday announced “some of the last remaining COVID-19 restrictions” would be ditched from 1am on June 30 following advice from Chief Health Officer Dr John Gerrard.
