Danish PM encourages citizens to ‘stand together’ after ‘cruel attack’

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen says the deadly shooting in Copenhagen was “a cruel attack” and encouraged Danes to “stand together” as three people were killed.

The shooting took place in a shopping mall in the country’s capital.

A 22-year-old Danish man has been arrested and police are trying to determine whether he acted alone.

Authorities have not ruled out it being an “act of terrorism”.
