Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has slammed criticism of his overseas travel amid claims he is spending too much time abroad.

He will be flying to a forum for Pacific nations in Fiji next after a week in Europe, while warning that Australia can’t afford to “drop the ball” despite floods ravaging NSW.
