Support programs in Australia helping Ukrainians settle into new life


Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations Co-Chair Stefan Romaniw says approximately 8,000 visas were issued for Ukrainians to flee to Australia.

“Of those, about 3,700 have arrived,” he told Sky News Australia.

He said there is a range of programs being delivered to help people settle into new communities and receive support during this process.

“It’s important that people be able to create a new life in the three years that they are here.”
