‘Best volunteers in the world’: Perrottet thanks flood rescue teams

NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet has stressed the importance of following the instructions of the rescue teams as he thanked the “best volunteers” in the world.

Mr Perrottet said he believed Australia had the best volunteers in the world,
crediting the emergency services and various rescue teams for putting their lives on the line.

“We will get through this,” he said.

“We have our wonderful volunteers, our SES and our RFS who are out there, conducting those rescues, please follow those instructions.”
