Third Way Co-Founder Matt Bennett says “Congress needs to act again” to address the gun violence in the United States.

Mr Bennett said having Democrats in charge will assist in reforming gun laws.

“Some states like New York – which had pretty strict gun laws – had them un-done by the Supreme Court, so there are very severe limits on what states can do,” he told Sky News Australia.

“Without federal action, it’s very difficult to make a meaningful impact.”
