Australia could be the ‘energy superpower for the world’

Deloitte Access Economics Lead Partner Pradeep Philip says Australia could be the “energy superpower” for the world.

“What’s going to power a new economy in 2050, a net zero economy, are the new minerals and the new energy that the rest of the world needs,” he told Sky News Australia.

“And we’ve got that in spades.

“And so, we could be the energy superpower for the world, creating jobs, income, especially in regional Australia, which we really need for our economy for the future.”
