The NSW Rural Fire Service’s Air Tanker the ‘Marie Bashir’ has been deployed to the United States to support the firefighting effort.
Minister for Emergency Services and Resilience Steph Cooke said the plane departed from Sydney’s Richmond Air Base early this morning and is headed to Boise, Idaho.
