ARL to meet and decide grand final fate

The Australian Rugby League Commission and Chairman Peter V’landys will meet today to discuss acting on the threat of moving the NRL grand final from Sydney.

The NRL has a contractual agreement with the New South Wales government to play the grand final in Sydney until 2042.

Mr V’landys has indicated he would like the grand final to remain in Sydney but is leaving other options on the table for the commission to discuss.
