‘More details’ expected to be announced on jobs summit

Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says more details are expected to be released this week around the federal government’s jobs and skills summit scheduled for September.

“AWU National Secretary Dan Walton could not have been clearer yesterday on Sunday Agenda in saying that he believes the number one priority of the summit has to be energy policy,” Mr Clennell said.

“Walton’s argument is that if energy goes up in cost, manufacturing becomes unaffordable and it affects business and jobs.”
