Shadow trade minister Kevin Hogan has defended Scott Morrison’s decision to take up three different Cabinet posts in secret as the former prime minister comes under fire from both colleagues and opponents.

Governor General David Hurley has confirmed Mr Morrison administered additional ministries during the last term of Parliament after The Australian and News.com.au revealed he took on the health, finance and resources portfolios.
