The ABC doesn’t want to tell you an ‘inconvenient truth’ about Tavistock

The ABC’s failure to cover the closure of Britain’s Tavistock serves as another example of the national broadcaster not wanting to tell Australians an “inconvenient truth,” Sky News Digital Editor Jack Houghton says.

Media Watch host Paul Barry pointed out the ABC had no trace of the story and, when asked why, the national broadcaster said its focus was “what is happening in Australia”.

“Australian practices differ significantly to those that were in Tavistock. The change in Britain’s model could certainly form part of future coverage, where it’s relevant,” the ABC…
