Headteacher ‘completely devastated’ after ‘wonderful’ boy pupil, 15, was stabbed to death

A schoolboy aged just 16 has been arrested on suspicion of murder in a dawn raid after a 15-year-old pupil was stabbed to death in Huddersfield on his way home.

The victim was killed after being ‘pinned down and repeatedly knifed’ near North Huddersfield Trust School as he left at the end of the day.

Emergency services rushed to the area and the boy was airlifted to Leeds General Infirmary, but he was sadly pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
