President Joe Biden slams President Vladimir Putin’s threats and warned against a nuclear war that ‘cannot be won’


United States President Joe Biden has responded to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s “outrageous” nuclear threats and a declaration he is mobilising the military.

In an extraordinary televised address on Wednesday Mr Putin accused the west of threatening nuclear action, “Russophobia” and of using the Ukrainians as “cannon fodder” in the bloody conflict.

The Russian leader also said he would “use all means available to us” against those threatening nuclear action adding “I’m not bluffing”.
