Heavy rainfall hits NSW and Qld coasts

Weather warnings remain in place across parts of New South Wales and Queensland after heavy rainfall along the coastline overnight.

Some areas of the New South Wales North Coast have received more than 180 millimetres of rain in the past 24 hours.

Flood warnings have been issued for the Orara and Tweed Rivers – where minor flooding is expected in Tumbulgum and Glenreagh later today.
