Indigenous Affairs Minister Linda Burney rejects Peter Dutton’s claim the Voice to Parliament is being ‘made up on the run’


Indigenous Affairs Minister Linda Burney has rubbished claims the government is rushing the Voice to Parliament process.

Ms Burney has been at the forefront of the push for a referendum, leading the government’s negotiations and engagement with all relevant groups.

While the opposition has not yet declared whether it will support the proposal, Liberal leader Peter Dutton immediately jumped on the end of two-week mourning period for the Queen’s death and attacked the government over the process.
