Coalition has ‘real concerns’ about new childcare bill

Shadow Early Childhood Education Minister Angie Bell says the Coalition has “real concerns” about the Labor government’s new childcare bill.

Up to 96 per cent of Australian families are set to pay less in childcare from July next year under new reforms introduced by the government.

“We have some very real concerns around … the workforce issues and the lack of plan for workforce now which is in crisis,” Ms Bell told Sky News Australia.

“We also have major concerns in terms of access for families across regional Australia.”
