Queensland hospitals face an increase in bed cuts


Queensland hospitals are facing an increase in ambulance ramping and soaring surgery delays.

Figures reveal between September 2021 and May this year, the Queensland government withdrew more than 100 beds from the state’s hospitals.

State Opposition Leader David Crisafulli said the details raise serious questions at a time when frontline staff have been facing more pressure than ever.
