Two men killed in helicopter crash in Western Australian town of Booralaming after failing to turn up at airport

A helicopter crash in the Western Australia Wheatbelt region has left two men dead.

The two-seater Robinson R22 took off from Koorda and was headed for Jandakot Airport but failed to turn up before 4pm on Sunday.

The no-show prompted the Australian Maritime Safety Authority to undertake a search, which found wreckage near the Cowcowing Lakes in Booralaming, to the south of Koorda.
