A man is lucky to have his arm after he was bitten by a shark off the north west coast of Western Australia.
The man, aged in his 30s, was spearfishing off Port Hedland on Friday morning when he was attacked by the unconfirmed species of shark at about 11:30am (local time).
He is believed to have just speared a fish when the shark bit into his arm and he managed to get to shore on a boat where emergency services were called.
