Coal Crusher set for Festival test

There is a relentlessness about Coal Crusher’s galloping style which has always had jockey Glyn Schofield thinking that a mile could be his trip.

The five-year-old gets out in front and crushes the spirit of rivals, like he did last start at Newcastle over 1300m, but he has never been asked to extend it to stakes grade or beyond 1400m.
