Grandfather dies during an 11-HOUR wait for a hospital bed


A grandfather who died during an 11-hour wait for a hospital bed spent his final hours alone on a chair in a corridor because the ward was full.

Bryan Fulstow died aged 83 at Hull Royal Infirmary on November 15.

His furious son has now slammed the ‘inhumane’ NHS care he received in the lead up to his death.

The grandfather-of-four had to wait two-and-a-half hours for an ambulance before he was rushed to A&E with suspected sepsis — six days before his eventual death.
