‘Not a refugee camp’: Fairfield Mayor Frank Carbone on former ISIS brides


Fairfield Mayor Frank Carbone says former ISIS brides came from a “prison camp from overseas” and not a refugee camp.

Mr Carbone is insistent that he doesn’t want to see any former ISIS brides and their children brought into his area.

“The government needs to put firstly the feelings of the people here in Australia,” he said.

“Especially the victims first, they are the victims, not those that actually got brought over from prison camps.”
