Victoria prepares for mosquito plague

Residents in Victoria are being warned to prepare for a mosquito plague this summer after long periods of heavy rain.

New data reveals a huge increase in mosquito populations across flooded parts of Victoria and there are fears of an increase in mosquito-borne viruses.

Councils are asking residents to clear stagnant water from gardens to help prevent further breeding.
