Father faces hefty damages bill after ‘growling’ when neighbours refused to give son’s ball back


A father has been sued for ‘baring his teeth and growling’ at a couple next door after they refused to give his eight-year-old son’s ball back when it landed in their garden. 

Chaim Adler, 34, burst into the garden of his parents’ neighbours after they confiscated the football out of frustration at the noise of it ‘smashing’ against their fence.    

Lawyer Warren Bergson and psychologist wife Dr Edel McAndrew-Bergson had taken the ball ‘to get some peace’ after it landed in their garden…
