Barnaby Joyce has clashed with Sky News Australia’s Chris Kenny over a different solution to the contentious Voice to Parliament.
On Monday it was revealed the Nationals would oppose Labor’s proposal to establish an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice to Parliament in the Australian Constitution.
In lieu of a Voice to Parliament, Mr Joyce has proposed reforming the Senate so that each state is divided in to six regions.
Each region would then produce two senators that would, as Mr Joyce argues, boost outcomes for people in regional areas and ultimately for Indigenous Australians.
