Qatari officials admit hundreds died for the World Cup


Former Labor MP Michael Danby says the death of hundreds of workers in the making for the World Cup is terrible “advertisement for Qatar”.

“I think the longer they’re on – the worst the PR is for Qatar,” Mr Danby told Sky News Host Peta Credlin.

“This comes out, their absolutely rude treatment of LGBTQ people and other minorities, it’s a terrible advertainment for Qatar.”
