Kirstie Alley’s cause of death revealed: Cheers star passed away aged 71 after battle with colon cancer


Actress Kirstie Alley passed away aged 71 after a short battle with colon cancer, her representatives have revealed. 

The Look Who’s Talking star’s cancer was “only recently discovered”, her children True and Lillie Parker announced via social media on Tuesday. 

The official cause of death was listed as colon cancer, a spokesperson for the actress confirmed with People magazine. 

Her children revealed on Tuesday the actress had been receiving treatment at the Moffitt Cancer Centre in Tampa, Florida, shortly before her death.
