Home Affairs Minister Clare O’Neil has criticised Australia’s immigration system and sent a stern warning to those seeking visas without a proper reason amid a labour shortage gripping the nation.

Ms O’Neil used her National Press Club address on Thursday to attack her predecessor Peter Dutton for the state he’d left the portfolio in and highlighted the number of undocumented people residing in Australia.
