Aston Villa ‘prepare’ Real Madrid transfer offer despite contract decision

Aston Villa are reported to be preparing an offer for Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos, despite the player recently signing a new contract with the club.

Villa have been linked with an interest in the former Arsenal man this summer, but Ceballos putting pen-to-paper on a new two-year deal seemed to end speculation that a move to Villa Park could be on the cards in the current transfer window.
