Real Madrid legend Marcelo accidentally breaks opposition player’s leg in Copa Libertadores tie

During his time with Real Madrid, Marcelo won it all. Six LaLiga title and five Champions Leagues were among 25 trophies he won during his spell in Spain between 2007 and 2022, which make him the most decorated player in Los Blancos’ history. On Tuesday night, however, he went through one of the lowest moments of his career, albeit not nearly as low as Luciano Sánchez, whose leg he broke in a Copa Libertadores game between Argentinos Juniors and Fluminense at Estadio Diego Armando Maradona in Buenos Aires.
