Wes Anderson will probably be honored on the eightieth Venice Movie Competition, which runs Aug. 30-Sept. 9. The U.S. director will obtain the Cartier Glory to the Filmmaker Award, which is given to “a persona who has made a very authentic contribution to the up to date movie trade.”
