That became evident just hours after the summer transfer window shut, with a public row erupting between the England international winger and manager Erik ten Hag.
Sancho was left out of the Man Utd squad for Sunday’s 3-1 defeat at Arsenal, with Ten Hag later explaining that he had made the decision to leave the 23-year-old out of his group because of his poor effort at training.
