Netflix’s live-action adaptation of One Piece has broken viewing records held by Stranger Things and Wednesday.
Originally announced in January 2020, the long-awaited series has won legions of fans after bringing the anime phenomena into the live-action world when it was released last week.
Developed by showrunners Matt Owens and Steven Maeda (Helix, Pan Am), the series is based on the ongoing manga by Eiichiro Oda, which was adapted into a popular anime from 1999.
