Wednesday has taken home a trophy from the 28th National Television Awards.
The hit Netflix show had stiff competition in the Best New Drama category but managed to beat its competitors.
Death in Paradise spin-off Beyond Paradise, police drama Blue Lights, and Bridgerton prequel series Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story were all nominated in the category but failed to take the win.

Due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strikes, much of the cast of Wednesday wasn’t in attendance at the NTAs on Tuesday night (September 5).
